Forward: Personal Statement

Given my current situation, I don't understand the spirit of Anthropology yet.  But I do know that there is a need to lessen obesity and otherwise addictive behavior in first world countries.  I was pleased at in the intra-department humanitarian effort: by way of environment, language, culture, and construction archaeology—historical preservation.  The antiquated conquistador movement to exploit natural third world resources at the hypocrisy of dogma needs a paradigm shift.  But there is a need to bridge the gap between the poor - fighters and the educated - thinkers.  Currently I am a poor fighter with a master’s degree.  My communication style is supported by practical physical science, math fundamentals, basic algorithms and code.  After reading about anthropology, I concluded that my vita/resume is the epitome of the western inculcative experience of exploitation with a vain attempt at Earth’s conquest through the Masonic old craft [given my two years’ experience as a CMT, construction materials field technician, coupled with my interest in the petrochemicals industry as a degreed chemist] as a case in point.   What drew initially towards anthropology was RABA KISHNER’s archaeology field technician ~ historical preservation subsidiary.  Furthermore, I was accepted into the UTSA civil engineering construction science and management program to begin fall 2025.  All this momentum halted for personal and financial reasons.  No grants were available.  There is a high turnover rate in the construction industry from the CMT level to mid management, the job is at high stress and accountability.  Compared to low stress--albeit nihilistic--long term graduate school commitment/chemistry major, my intention is placing the purposeful due diligence of historical preservation within the construct of a post doc in anthropology specifically ~ shamanistic medicinal anthropology. 

Chemistry is at the cusp of the biotechnology and petrochemicals industry: at aqueous base to oil-based technologies and methods.  The underlying sinful physical science has the periodic table as the Roseta stone to communicate internationally at the level of earth science to esoteric cosmology.  Lithium ion is at 7 amu and is the mass limit from quantum to classical physics.  Subatomic particles can tunnel across potential energy barriers all the way up to 7amu; thenceforth, all atomic elements represented in the periodic table act in the Galilean reference frame.    Pb (82) à Au (79) + 3 H+ cold fission reaction is impossible as the alchemists tried to change lead into gold. 

Some things I cannot change: my conquest of ignorance and poverty through scholarship in the physical sciences is a case in point.  How I use my master’s degree in chemistry is limited to my San Antonio homestead and economy. There are five crazy ladies in anthropology that claim to be into medicinal anthropology as listed in the PhD handbook.  The study of diseases at the anthropology level is coupled with appropriate due science in the shamanistic culture as well as the backbone of Rx pharma via organic pharmacology and synthesis—to copy a special venom in the code of life and convert it by way of lab old craft work ~ into a healing art.  List of faculty members I’m interested in working with: Marcus J. Hamiliton (Bayesian theory), Michael Cepek (shamans of the Cofan’ Nation) and the five “crazy ladies” about medical anthropology. 

Introduction: The Noble Shaman vs. illicit cartel drug dealers: use and abuse of medicinal chemistry

As a Master of Science in Chemistry that specialized in the practical synthesis of natural products at UT; it’s my intention to lend veracity towards the Shamanistic culture of Northern Mexico, using pharmaceutical molecular architectures and comparing them to their natural products found in plants and lower animals (e.g. the “Buffo” toad of the Sonoran Desert).   It is common knowledge that drugs in the pharmaceutical industry stem from plants and toxins of lower animals, but no credence is given towards psychoactive healing arts in a seemingly malignant effort to dumb down the population and curb the basic sense of the limbic system: eat, drink, procreate and find a conduit to a higher sense of self.   After comparing many structures, I came to the thesis: that plants and humans both evolved in a mutually beneficial and symbiotic sense towards holistic healing in the mind, body and spirit[i].  The Shaman in Northern Mexico is the stuff of great stories shrouded in mysticism: The Teachings of Don Juan, A Yaqui Indian Way of Life, by Carlos Castaneda is a good example.  After reading the four-part series, my prejudice was replaced with due respect and a sense of envy.  How can this poor shaman along the Texas Mexico border have so much respect among his people and even be the substance of great content written by an educated cultural anthropologist?  Even the song by Vicente Fernandez: “El Hijo del Pueblo” is the verse sung with pride by Hispanics over a hearty Mexican dinner—and it’s basically a song describing the life of the respected artist. The Shaman is respected in his healing art by his people.  The Shaman in many respects is a rebel and a heretic.  His healing art embraces both psychoactive and psychotropic aspects of holistic medicine.  The effects of Ritalin and Wellbutrin on ADD and ADHD patients is well documented but both architectures find their basic inspiration in dopamine analogues as does the bad man drug dealer that comes up with a new ingredient in his bath salt.  It is a complete paradigm shift between the Shaman’s good intentions and the criminality of the cartels[ii]: the basic rule in poverty is simply to get out of poverty by any means possible.  Of course, talent supersedes ignorance, and learning is facilitated in a basic belief of the natural law of coexistence.  Be that as it may, it’s my intent to provide a simple comparative study of both psychoactive and psychotropic compounds found in nature as well as at the drug store. Given the thesis the following axiom stems thereof: all methods by way of Government Media, Insurance-Finance, and Law – Politics should support the Licensed Shamanistic Healer, given the following [ I – VI] subtitles in constructive support of thesis.

I.                    Diet and exercise ~ Mainstream Mantra

[Glucose + Acetyl - Coenzyme A] ~ Oxidation of 2 [pyruvate + CoA + NADPH] à  2 {Acetyl CoA + CO2 + NADP+ [H+] + 2870 KJ of heat

 Metabolism ~ energy production in the mitochondrial matrix: Acetyl CoA production links glycolysis with the citric acid cycle to make ATP.  The human brain makes up 2% of the adult body mass but consumes 20% of glucose in the diet.  The resting potential of the brain is 10 watts, about the same power to light up a hall light.  The electrical potential is about - 75 millivolts of one neuron bundle times 85 billion glial cells ~ 10 watts of electricity. Metabolism ~ Heat: The average human body temperature of 98 degrees Fahrenheit.  The energy emitted by heat radiation is approximated using the black body equation: E ~ks T^4 ~ 100 watts of heat. It seems with a high Calorie diet of 3000 calories; the body should maintain good health and longevity.  I suspect that environmental insults in the form of stressors and blockers act on the mind, body and spirit to give morbid obesity and insulin resistance at 12000 kJ of energy consumed and 10000 kJ of metabolic heat used per day at rest leaves about 2000 kJ for daily activities. Given a daily momentum (mv)gt = momentum (gravity) x time ~ yields a caloric deficit of - 3000 kJ.  Given this calorie deficit in daily meals consumed, it’s obvious that the USA suffers from spiritual malady caused by a sedentary lifestyle.  The 12-step program (passive Eastern Tradition) given in the state’s rehabilitative efforts to reinstate the health heart head and hands of its labor force in cognitive dissonance with the American Western spirit of Conquest.  This dichotomy points the way to the modern shaman--unfortunately the drug dealer fits this role.  Clearly a niche within the community requires “the Licensed Shamanistic Holistic Healer.”  

II.                 Concentration units: basic introduction [given a 70 Kg ~ 154 lbs. person]

The average hit of methamphetamine is 0.2 grams or 200 mg dose.  The physiological concentration of dopamine ~ 30pg/mL.  This translates to about 1.2 micro grams/person of dopamine in the natural sense as compared to 20,000 micro grams in the methamphetamine hit.  A part per million or ppm is like flicking cigarette ash into a quart of milk ~ 8mg/L ~ 8 ppm.  A part per billion is three orders of magnitude greater than a ppm and is like flicking cigarette ash into a 25-gallon aquarium.  Using cannabis flowers with a very high concentration of THC at 15% to 20% {multiplied by the weight of dime bag} on average and less than 1% THC in hemp.  Obviously, the flowers are greater than an order of magnitude to a couple of powers of ten differentially off from the basic hemp plant.  If teas were a legal form of introduction into the body by non-Promethean (incendiary) methods, then it could be safely used by the public. Just as a DUI legal limit of BAC is 0.07% ~ grams/100 mL of blood.  A comparable laced tea: for therapeutic use or for personal use at home is suggested.  THC’s tinctures are medically recommended at 2.5 mg to 5 mg per person.  A triterpenoid coil is enzymatically held together at the cleft to biosynthesis of THC type natural product that binds to a brain receptor at the frontal cortex: hence, it’s abuse in the ameliorated productivity of the user: namely towards the tax base of the infrastructure political machine as well as in impaired cognition and focus.   

III.              Drug Metabolism

Research on general physiology leads me to drug metabolism and how the body cleanses itself of toxins.  Turmeric root comes to mind as well psyllium husk in the chelation of metabolic toxic waste products in apothecaries’ weight ~ grains, ounces and pounds.  But cytochrome P450 and its complex of related enzymes remove drug toxins at the molecular level at the interface of lung, intestine, liver, and kidney tissues.  The enclosed table shows the family of genes that code for the Cytochrome P450 enzyme family primarily located in the liver.

IV.              Lithium & Mineral Water

Lithium bicarbonate LiHCO3 is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder the BLC: blood lithium concentration is about 0.60-0.80 mmol/L ~ 6-8 ppm [using the molecular mass of Li + as 10 amu not 7 amu.]  The quantum mass limit is at 7 amu--all elements on the periodic table behave classically after Lithium--so this mineral is included in the list of potential shamanistic therapeutics e.g. San Pellegrino mineral water is at 200 ppb in Lithium content.  Topo Chico is unfortunately at trace levels of Lithium.  Joke of the day: the German settlers in Austin were pioneering in a state of mania and when they drank out of Barton Springs {[Li +] ~ 2.8 - 219 ppb} ‘the crazy/Verruckt German’ calmed down and just settled there. Pick any online quantum tunneling diagram that depicts the particle as the putative Li+ ion tunneling across a potential energy barrier shown as the column: subsequent ringing of the lesser amplitude of the waveform implies the damping effect of the barrier; however, the particle if it behaved classically wouldn’t have exited the barrier: the barrier can be a block of lead weighing 8.8 lbs. with electrons, alpha particles and Li+ tunneling across the brick.  Liquid nitrogen elucidates the tails of the paths of these particles as they tunnel across the brick as a practical exercise.  The ruin of Einstein’s correction is shown above where the particle velocity is limited at light speed [said exercise exceeds this limit using E = mc^2.] 

V.                Druids & The Masons

Modern research chemists vs. the old craft Alchemist or Druid Magician in the Scandinavian dark ages of Europe would have written up this phenomenon as a Masonic ruin--given the book of Enoch where the fallen angels gave man Alchemy as the sacred craft in the conquest of Earth.  Nevertheless, I’m sure those old guys would’ve made a good show of this potential energy diagram or otherwise enjoyed the firebrand idea that Eistein was corrected. The traditional energy vs. reaction coordinate diagram (not shown) depicts the classical potential energy diagram.  For the old craft molecular architects/carpenters that published volumes of primary literature where the experimental design using catalysts, chiral auxiliaries, and noble metals in the presence of vitriol (sulfuric acid) lower the potential energy by way of increasing the effective concentration at the catalyst active site by way of kinetics.  1,2,3 and even 4 members can unite in a synthesis, but the 5th element never comes together in a concerted or radical mechanism to make one thing/elemental product.  Modern methods in enzymology use this idea but it’s not a quantum effect.  However, it’s a good note to include that most 2 element exothermic reactions are performed in a dry ice bath to remove heat energy as a product of the reaction and by Le Chatelier’s principle that drives the reaction to completion to synthesize the one element product.  It is best practice to have a group leaving in conjunction with the exothermic reaction to fortify the classical physics motif (in classical physics pound = pound, as foot = foot ~ Galilean space time is absolute.)  Honorable mention is due to the research chemist as well as the Druid. 

VI.              AMPHETAMINES ~

The You Tube link is my power point online presentation touching on the content of this communication; namely, the effects of illicit compounds on the black market.  But a focus is given on the initial thesis argument: that plants and humans both evolved in a mutually beneficial and symbiotic sense towards holistic healing in the mind, body and spirit.  The adjacent picture shows the 1,2,3 spacing from the aromatic ring to the sp3 basic Nitrogen.  This structural motif is maintained in illicit pharmacological drug design to compete with the natural neurotransmitter shown.  As mentioned, the concentration of an addictive dose is three orders in magnitude greater than the therapeutic micro to milligram scale.  Therapeutics usually offset the 1,2,3 spacing to not compete with the natural dopamine.  Nevertheless, if the regulated form of administration by a licensed shaman were to prescribe effective supplements to maintain the health of the patient, then this would obviate the street black market drug dealer and his related cartel.  The spacing 1,2,3 motif are found in the following list of drugs: methamphetamine, MDMA, Ritalin, [Cocaine – by conformational flipping about N - of the chair to boat ring] & the benzos: Heroine, morphine and Dilaudid.

VII.           Drug Dealer & Bath Salts vs. the Bushman

Interestingly, the Khat plant, used in Bushmen’s Tea [is a plant found naturally in South-East Africa Kalahari Desert] and is used in bath salts.  I suspect that the extraction process involves the following protocol: The extraction process (semi preparative to preparative scale ~ grams to tens of grams scale) employs a simple coffee maker where the Khat plant is used in lieu of coffee grounds.  The aqueous layer is evaporated off in a bath to yield the bath salt residuals thereof.  The methamphetamine – dopamine mimics are amphetamines with a ketone group in the propyl offset from the phenyl group: 1,2,3 carbon unit equivalents from phenyl to the sp3 basic nitrogen.  Cathionone type compounds found in the Khat plant with a ketone group include the following: ephedrine, cathine, cathionone, methcathionone, MDPV, mephedrone, and the antidepressant bupropion -Wellbutrin Rx.  Despite the obvious uses of Busmen’s Tea: as a dietary supplement and antidepressant, it’s outlawed in the United States.  This ossified prejudice mired primarily in the Rx industrial manipulation of holistic medicine and a basic affront to the Free American Spirit, where a person if free to pursue life, liberty and happiness, as s/he chooses.  The sin of Promethius that gave man fire in the Greek legend is what I’m basically against.  The abuse of fire to extract bath salts--in orders of magnitude the concentration and natural dose--is different than the Bushman’s due respect for his native ancestry and plants to garnish the essence thereof in the matrix of the plant itself-- in a therapeutic dose [micro scale: micro gram to milligram scale] as in most tinctures and Shaman teas of the United States Southern border.  To assume that everyone will abuse the essence of a plant is a constitutional sin, where sin is to miss the mark and appropriate expectation.  Libertarian political ideas have a good point to eliminate poverty within government.  To fortify the Texas Mexico border thereby facilitating the commonsense law of the Bill of Rights.  Good families begin the process of legal immigration to augment the labor force, then the second generation of skilled tradesmen, then third levels of military then the fourth level support structure to ensconce the gifted sons into the University Ivory Tower.  In short, to teach patriotism to economic or otherwise illegal immigrants with a die-hard sense of cultural identity and powerful ties in spirit to their homeland and race--especially given the criminal conduit out of poverty--coupled to the human condition, is passively asserted as difficult to inspire in short time lest in become inculcated.

VIII.        Law - Finance & Politics / Conclusion

Clearly: plants and humans both evolved in a mutually beneficial and symbiotic sense towards holistic healing in the mind, body and spirit.  You must finish medical school to become a holistic doctor.  You don’t need a damn thing to be a drug dealer: project 2025 and agenda 47.  Maybe a happy medium can happen given the current wild executive as the current political machine tries to make America great again.  Given the humanistic level of higher thinking that is at the University Anthropology program, the New Testament Grace in contrast to the Old Testament law of conquest in viable in a coherent effort to bridge the two forms of reason.  With my vita and resume, I hope I can be a grain in the cog of the differential in this movement.
